Getting To Joshua Tree National Park

Joshua Tree National Park is located is southern California, near Palm Springs. The park as three entrances, the south entrance off of I-10, the west entrance off of Highway 62 and the north entrance, also off of Highway 62. The towns of Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree are located near the west entrance and the town of Twentynine Palms is located near the north entrance.

From Palm Springs: Approx. 35 miles, 45 minutes
From Los Angeles: Approx. 130 miles, 2-3 hours
From San Diego: Approx. 160 miles, 3-4 hours
From Las Vegas: Approx.. 230 miles, 4-5 hours

Flights

Flying into Palm Springs is the most direct route to the park, but airfare will probably be more expensive than a flight into Los Angeles. Depending on your airline, a flight to Palm Springs could very well connect in Los Angeles, so depending on your preferences, you might want to drive from Los Angeles, trading off a longer drive for less expensive airfare.
